1)  To support and assist in the activities and needs of our school and to work cooperatively with our school's professional staff for the betterment of our children; 2) To encourage parental awareness and participation in the development of our children, both in the classroom and at home; 3) To help promote individual pride and school spirit in the hearts of Fountain Hills Charter School students.

A FEW WAYS PARENTS CAN HELP
1. Fundraising- This is an area where anyone can help.  Check out our Wish List Page and see if you can help generate financial support for our school's various 2006-2007 material needs.  All projects will benefit our students!  Don't forget to support Fabulous Food Days and our May Gala Auction!

2. Be a Rep!- Represent your child's class at PTO meetings on behalf of his/her teacher.  Let us know how we might better support your teacher and classroom.

3. Classroom Volunteer- Join up with other parents as your child's classroom helper, fieldtrip chaperone, special mentor...etc.    Share your area of interest with your child's teacher.  Be specific as to how you would like to help, or not help, so the teacher isn't left guessing about your willingness to help.

4. Event Volunteer- Check out our Event Descriptions Page and see if you can volunteer any time for our various PTO projects.  All project goals are for the benefit the students!  Help us organize our all-important Gala Auction Event, or help at our Scholastic Book Fair in the Spring or Fall.

2.  Conduct our annual gala/auction fundraiser in May to generate future PTO revenue. (achieved!)
3.  Help replace worn-out play equipment and missing balls at both campuses. (achieved!)
4.  Host weekly food days to support teachers special needs requests. (achieved!)
5.  Sponsor several special educational assemblies at the school. (achieved!)
6.  Promote and support the fall and spring Scholastic Book Fair. (achieved!)
7.  Sponsor a school marquee to help publicize school and PTO events. (achieved!)
8.  Support the new performing arts room with special equipment. (achieved!)
9.  Help support special teacher & student classroom requests (achieved!)
10.  Have fun with the students and teachers alike! (achieved!)
