FHCS Clubs
Art:
This club will focus on the
elements of art; including perspective, space, and composition
(among several others). We will also be learning advanced techniques
using watercolors and pastels.
Glee:
This club is a combination of
singing different songs and creating dances that go along with the
songs.
Girls’ Only:
This club will discuss issues
that affect girls today: body, health, sex, drugs, diet, boys,
peers, etc.
It will focus on
positive body image, etiquette, professional success, self-esteem,
fighting sexual stereotyping and building self-confidence. ***A permission slip will
be sent home to be signed and returned prior to enrollment in club.
Study Buddy:
A time for
students to silent reading, work on IXL, homework, study skills, or
projects.
3rd Quarter clubs will begin January 10th, 2012
and conclude March 1st, 2012.
